My son turned 11 today. He likes dinos. I was looking at something that made him happy. I didn't imagine this place was huge in the nation capital. We spent 2 full hours having fun at this place. Make sure you pay for your parking before you get or your vehicle will get towed.
I took my 2 granddaughters and my mom to the Dino exhibit, the 3 yr old was terrified at first. The 5 year old loved it from the beginning g to the end. After awhile the 3 year old was fine. They were lifelike and beautiful( dinos). It was amazing!!!!!. I'd highly recommend it for all ages over 3 years old. Thanks for the great experience.
This was a neat place. The best part was the VR headsets. I wish they had something to sanitize the headsets with.
If they had more interactive activities that would be cool. Overall I think it’s costly for what’s included. But it’s was a nice experience
Loved it. The grandkids loved it. Loved how interactive and interesting for the kids. Wasn’t over packed. Could take our time and move at our on pace. Loved it.
Great experience for my 3 year old Grandson. He loved being able to freely explore, and find his favorite dinosaurs. The cost was right on point and the parking was convenient and FREE in DC.
I definitely recommend this for all ages and would go again.
Great place to take your kids! The place was clean, and the staff were pleasant. They have different areas with displays and the dinos aren't too loud so our son wasn't scared. He had a blast. They have a coloring area where you can color a dinosaur and put your name on it, then it comes alive on a screen. They had a fossil area where kids could uncover the bones using brushes, and even an area where they can ride some dinos for a small fee. Great way to spend the day with your kids. We will definitely go again next year.
It was good. My kids enjoyed it a lot. Life size dinosaurs with animatronics. It's a lively experience. We are allowed to touch it, it would be great if we can touch.
The good part is, we can take our time and enjoy ourselves. For kids, they have coloring activity, where the kids can color the dinosaurs in the pre printed formats available there and even they are providing the crayons. Once they finish the coloring, it can be scanned and the dinosaurs will be shown with their colors in animation. My kids enjoyed this a lot.
And there are VR exp and dino rides for kids. Rides costs $4. Overall it was a good experience with kids. Tickets are a little expensive, but that's fine.
we had so much fun at the exhibit! Parking lot was super easy and they validate for up to two hours! The exhibit itself had so many live/moving dinosaurs! I personally wasn't the biggest fan of the constant changing lights. In between the dinosaur exhibit, they had an interactive ball throwing room! At the end of the exhibit, they have activities for the kids like coloring a dinosaur and putting it up on the screen to see it moving, fossil digging, racing with dinosaurs, and Dino rides
